: LS420D Bittorrent problems
: windracer April 01, 2014, 06:09:35 PM
I am having a lot of strange issues with the Bittorrent client on my new LS420D (6TB, RAID-1).

Twice now, ALL of my settings in the client have been reset and I've had to go through and fill in all the fields again (proxy, authentication, queue numbers, etc.). Also, the client on the Linkstation seems to crash a lot. Sometimes restarting the Bittorrent client through the web interface will work, other times only rebooting the NAS will fix this. When it does happen, the bittorrent client web client is unreachable on port 9090.

I am running the latest 1.31 firmware. Is anyone else having problems like this?

I'm wondering if anyone reads these forums. I see this has been out for a month with no replies. I am having almost the same problems, but not just with Bit Torrent. Sorry this hasn't been answered.

Yeah, I don't think anyone at Buffalo support actual checks these threads. After not hearing back from them on any of my threads or my support requests, I returned the LS420D and got a Synology box. It rocks and I am much happier. No more Buffalo NAS devices for me.
