: WZR-600DHP locking up and freezing!
: Aethelwulf January 27, 2014, 01:53:27 AM
1) Model: WZR-600DHP
2) Firmware: pro-v24sp2-20180
3) ISP: Cable internet, Rogers
4) Network size: Six computers across three switches, three laptops via wifi, and 3 android phones at peak.
5) More details:
For the past month the router has been freezing up, networking slowing down, control panel unable to be accessed at random times. We've had to reset it to gain access to the control panel and then reconfigure to continue on. Now, we are unable to access the control panel at all even after complete reset.

This router has never been modified, flashed, or altered in any way. The only settings we've ever changed are the wireless name, password, username, password. Our network is not hacked as I've been watching the incoming/outgoing connections. Likewise, even when not connected to the internet, this has still been a problem after I've tried trouble shooting.

Is this router a brick? What now? Can I send for warranty? I can't access the control panel at all even after factory reset, unplugging all connections and power, powering back on, etc.

I had a similar problem accessing the setup page in the router. The solution was to clear the cache (history) in my browser (Chrome). Once I did that I accessed it right away. Hope this is helpful.
