: (Solved) Server 2012 R2 connection issues to Terastation

Hello,
I have several TS pros, I can map or browse to my shares on windows 7/8 and server 2012 BUT on server 2012 R2 I can not. I can ping the nas from the r2 servers but when I browse to it I get "windows can not find:\\ipaddress\share" I have tried both by IP and Host name.

Just in case I removed all authentication from the NAS shares, even factory reset it. And I still can not connect. :(

Any help would be appreciated.

I found a fix for this about a month ago implemented it and it has been working every since.

I added the following to my servers registry
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters]
"SMB2"=dword:00000000

Rebooted and it worked. On one of my servers an odd thing happened where I had to reboot twice because the admin share wouldnt connect from my desktop to the server.
