Has anyone had any luck using automount in snow leopard for OSX? I have several users on the same system, and adding auto mounts via each person's login is a pretty dumb and time consuming way to do it. I'd just like to add the share's to an fstab or whatever is legal these days so the shares are always automatically mounted when any user logs in.
this actually works, sort of:
fstab:
afp://192.168.0.15/share /Volumes/share afp rw,auto 0 0
then i do automount -vc
but that only makes a dir, then I need to sudo mount -av and its mounted - but perms are for root:wheel, so other users can't access it correctly.
What am I missing?
thanks
