: LS-CHL1.0TB error E07
: hash42 August 24, 2009, 12:51:27 PM

Came in this morning and the LS-CHL1.0TB (purchased 4/09) has a red light flashing 7 shorts (no longs), I take it this is either a NIC or HDD error, how does the warranty work on this?  Is it recoverable locally?

Thanks,

7 flashes - Problem with motherboard (RAM, LAN, or Hard Drive controller).

We can't do anything about the data.  And there are no software fixes if your getting a true 7 flashes.  Any type of data recovery is taken care of by you.  But it is within warranty, you have a 1 year warranty, if you have a valid receipt or invoice.  We can set you up with a replacement if you call in.
