: Drive Station FlexNet 640GB (HD-CE640LU2)- Question About its Network Location.

Network=2 XP Computers, 2 Vista Computers

Hello,

We just purchased this DAS/NAS for our home network. After installing the software on the computers, I could access the drive via the Browse HD-XXXXX-XXXX Shortcut on my desktop. This works fine and it is fast, but when I open Word and try to save a file to the drive, I cannot find it anywhere. Is this the way it is supposed to be? Is there anyway I can actually locate the drive without having to use the shortcut?

Sorry if this seems a little unclear.

Thanks.

Go to your run box and type in \\ipaddress and hit ok.

Oh Geez, I should have known. Ok I can now access all of my things via the Network page. I just had to make a shortcut to //BuffaloHD. Thanks for the response.
