One of the main reasons why I bought this product was for the power saving mode. Anyway, I can't seem to get the NAS drive to power up/off automatically as it should.
I think this is due to NAS Navigator not finding the Linkstation on the network. My PC running XP can find it, but not the laptop running Vista. The laptop is connected to the router and I can see and access the linkstation via the network (in my computer window).
I've tried upgrading to NAS NAVI 2.11. Any suggestions?
Try getting the latest version 2.15 from the downloads section of this site. Also make sure that Vista has SP1.
Turn off ALL software firewalls including Windows and any anti-virus firewall, then can it find the unit?
