I have 55,537 files in 13,037 folders = 368GB total on external 500GB Cavalry HD (NTFS). This is mostly music, some videos and photos but I don't think any of the files > 4GB. I tried to drag and copy them to my new MiniStation™ TurboUSB Portable Hard Drive HD-PFU2 500GB and after 2 attempts I cannot copy all folders. No error message, nothing. First time I copied 184GB, second time around 200GB. I am using Memeo but it's slow and won't give me exact mirror of Cavalry so I can use it with iTunes but switching Drive letter. Should I reformat with NTFS?

Of course, reformat it to NTFS, the only reason its formatted in FAT32 is so it can be used on Windows / MAC and Linux PC out of the box, one word of advice, dont use the Buffalo formatting tool, it takes agaes, just use Windows itself to format the drive.
