: Problems with NasNavigator & Auto power function with my Link station pro Duo
: Papa February 05, 2009, 12:23:23 PM

Hello, It's me From Finland:-)

I was bought brand new Linkstation Pro Duo yesterday and it's now ready to use but...

NasNavigator doesn't find it from my LAN.

I was try turn off my firewall and virus protection but that doesn't help.

I try update Nasnavigator to version 2.11 but it still doesn't found my linkstation.

Also Autopower function doesn't work, If I turn switch to Autopower then linkstation shutdown.

I can access my linkstation via HTTP and via SMB without problem.

 Automatic wakeup doesn't work.

Can someone help me and give some suggestions what to do.

I use Windows XP Sp3

Here is log from NAS PM Service, I was restarted service once while Log is created.

Try disabling firewalls.

Yes I try but...

I was close Comodo Firewall and then put Windows firewall down.

Trying find reason for that problem.

Problem IS because I was put Comodo firewall down, It stays behind doing something I just doesn't see it's GUI.

After I uninstall whole Comodo All starts working:smileyvery-happy:.

After that I install NAS Navigator to another computer Running Comodo too, I doesn't disable it but I put it learning mode and it works fine.

Last one is Our Linux machine...

I found some articles about that, If Cron runs Wakeonlan command every 20 second it may work, or works it?

Let see tomorrow If I can make that autopower feature work from Linux also.

Thanks anyway for correct answer to my problem:smileywink:
