: Buffalo PCMCIA LAN Card
: paud May 11, 2010, 11:23:47 AM

I have a Buffalo PCMCIA LAN Card with a Buffalo dongle.    Buffalo downloads section make no mention of a PCMCIA LAN card.   I need drivers for Win98.

there's probably about 40-60 Buffalo PCMCIA cards. do you have a part number?

And therein lies the problem.    I have an old working laptop that I want to donate to a charity, running Win98, no internal LAN nor wireless.    I do have this PCMCIA card with a Buffalo LAN dongle attached to it.    The card itself carries absolutely no name, part or model number, simply "Ethernet 32 bit, CardBus 10/100M"      The dongle simply says, "BUFFALO Tx/Rx  Link" with 2 activity lights.     The connector to the card has on it only Asiatic characters, no part/model numbers.     When I checked Buffalo's download site, I found only drivers for wireless PC cards.      Thoughts of others?      I would like to donate this laptop with some kind of minimal 'net capability.
