hi, just finished running the memory configurator for my motherboard (dfi ut 790fx-m2r). it gives me recomendations but only up to 800 mhz. with my installed phenom x4 will i be able to run some fsx1066d2c-k4g at speed? i am running some cheap crucial right now, but would like to upgrade to something with tighter timings.

thankyou

that board supports CPU: AMD® AM2+ processors: Phenom FX / Phenom / Athlon / Sempron     AMD® AM2 processors: Athlon series / Sempron  and the Phenom supports 1066 memory

with 1066 memory, he would set the memory Vdimm to 2.1V, timings to 5-5-5-18

you will need to set the memory speed as well, for 1066MHz memory
