Okay I find the official position of the company is that Linux is not supported (and presumably not Mac as well). However, it should be possible to make it work, and I am looking for someone to tell me how. I am running Fedora 10 (Cambridge 2.6.27 ...).
The device is detected as /dev/sr0 (the main boot DVD drive is /dev/sr1). So it does see it, and detects its name, specs, etc. The problem comes when I try to mount it. It does not seem to accept the -t udf filesystem type or any other I have tried, either by connecting through eSATA or USB.
Anyone have any suggestions? You may also phone me at 512-299-5001.
