Hi there....

 

i have a big problem by playing AVI`S like DivX and XVid. Every Video judders on my HD screen! My source is the Buffalo LinkStation Live! 

 

Pease help mE!!!!

   well from the PC, the same Problem!!! VOB`s are working good, only Divx is soo bad, support the LinkTheater DivX?

Yes i have.... but have the Link Theater a license für XVid oder Divx, or Support????

Not sure what your question is here, but the linktheater HD only supports the following file formats: MPEG2, MPEG4, WMV9, H.264 (MPEG4 AVC)

 

So that's probably why, I'd recommend that for those files you use something like, Tversity, which can, on the fly, transcode those files into an acceptable format for the destination.

Is there anyway to add additional open source codecs to the LT-H90LAN?  Anyone know what OS it is running?  If it is Linux and someone could get us kernel access we could update the codecs and\or digital player software. 

 

I would love to add my own codecs the the LinkTheater if at all possible.  So far about 1 in every 5 vids I attempt to play do not work.  I am using a Buffalo NAS to stream the vids so I cannot change the streaming server software.

More support for codecs please....!
