Power the unit off for a couple minutes and then plug it back in. If the current light pattern persists and it still wont respond to the reset button the unit may need to be replaced. You can contact Buffalo tech support at 866-752-6210. If you think the unit is within its 2 year warranty we can replace it for you.
I had the same problem. The first WCR-HP-GN I got work for about 6 months. Then one day, it suddenly stopped working. The only lights were the power and DIAG. I had it replaced since it had a 3 year warranty. The second unit I got (same model) broke down on me on the second day that I was using it. It had the same problem. Now I have to go back to the service center and have it replaced the THIRD time! I hope someone can explain why this specific model keeps on breaking down on me.
I have the same problem with my buffalo wcr-gn. only the power light turns on and even reset does'nt work. I think its not even a year since i bought it. but the vendor says it only have 6mos warranty. Can it be replaced?
