: WZR-HP-G300NH - Recommended Settings
: xcom007 January 02, 2011, 09:25:37 PM

I'm a newbie to the Buff router and the DD-WRT OS. What do these settings mean? Is there a "Recommended settings" for any of them? The web interface does not explain all these settings. What is the best documentation available? How much of this is Buffalo, and how much is it DD-WRT OS? I'm using DD-WRT v24SP2-EU-US (08/19/10) std (SVN revision 14998) on a WZR-HP-G300NH router.  I've got the router set in client mode going to a  Netgear Access Point n-router attached to a cable modem. Internet speed test show consistent 18-21 mbps from my laptop, which I use thru the router's Ethernet port. Since my Comcast service is rated @ 16-24mbps I assume I'm getting my moneys worth with the present settings. But sometimes you wonder if you're getting all the technology out of a device...
