: WHR-G300N not working with official Xbox 360 wirelss adaptor?

When searched the SSID on xbox, the SSID for my router could not be shown. After that I tried to move the router close to the xbox, same things happened. Then I grab my old Linksys G-router and hook that up, it worked perfectly with the Xbox wireless client. Just wonder anyone has the same problem? and can buffalo include this in the future updates??

Hi,

I found this article at Buff Japan site. Unfortunately it is described in Japanese.

The QA# is BUF18110.

It says that XBOX wireless adapter cannot connect to WZR-HP-G300NH via wireless and Buff has not decided yet to support XBOX wireless adapter.

You can ask to Buff support directly.

I wonder why Buff support ignores this post. I’m not a Buff tech support!!

Oh my god, how can buffalo ignore this ?? Xbox is one of the best seller in Japan too ...

 

Haha, anyways, I need to run a G-router and N-router at the same time just to solve this issue.
